Women can build careers in technical fields
A TVET-focused activity encouraged women and young people to see skilled technical work as a real path forward.
The Foundation's documented work includes participation in a 2022 TVET programme focused on the message that women can be engineers.
The activity encouraged young people to learn skilled work and challenged the idea that technical fields should be limited by gender.
This work builds on an earlier 2020 activity in Nungua that introduced women to areas including equipment operation, solar systems and vehicle tracking technology.
