A community gathering focused on women's economic strength

Women from across the community gathered in Nungua for an empowerment programme on 1 May 2023. The event brought together widows, fishmongers, older women and other community members.
The programme focused on women's financial strength and the value of practical support within the community. It also created a shared space for women from different backgrounds and livelihood groups.
